Job Name: Engineering Project Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity available for an Engineering & Project Administrator to join the Blackpool Pleasure Beach Group of companies. This family-owned and run business has just celebrated its 125th Anniversary and is widely regarded as one of the best amusement parks in the world. Today the business comprises an amusement park, two luxury hotels, theatres, venues, restaurants and attractions.

In this role, you will be required to support the Engineering Department. You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Engineering Department. Working alongside other members of the team you will ensure a high quality of service is delivered to the business.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Administrative support and diary management for the Engineering Management Team, including minute taking and distributing minutes, and producing and distributing reports.
  • Arranging and scheduling external and internal appointments and meetings.
  • Creating purchase orders and processing invoices
  • Liaising with contractors to ensure all required H&S paperwork has been submitted and issuing permits to work
  • Maintain accurate Health and Safety documentation and records
  • Liaise with the project team to create a plan of work, coordinating team members and contractors to ensure deadlines are met.
  • To implement and maintain a positive Health and Safety Culture ensuring that Company Health & Safety systems and procedures are understood and adhered to.
